CASS students are active participants in a range of sports both in and outside of school. We have strong links with the Halberg Trust, Special Olympics and Boccia NZ. The competitive spirit is alive and well at CASS, with our classes holding regular interclass competitions in Boccia, Races and Wheelchair Football.
Senior students at CASS compete in the Special Olympics Athletics event at Mt Smart Stadium against other students from other schools across Auckland and also participate in weekly Boccia skills sessions followed by games. Junior classes attend and participate in the annual Parasports day held at Mt Roskill Intermediate. Special Olympics and Boccia NZ regularly come into school to support students participating in sports and developing skills. We continually seek new and innovative ways for our students to participate in sport and competition.
